Police Make 72 Arrests Over Holiday Weekend
Over the Bermuda Day Holiday weekend [7am Friday, May 21st – 7am Tuesday, May 25th] Police report they arrested 72 people in total.
There were:
- 3 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving
- 2 reported burglaries
- 7 reported damage only road traffic collisions
- 2 reported road traffic collisions resulting in injury
- 8 stolen vehicles
- 15 reported loud music complaints
- 126 stop and searches conducted
- 2 armed robberies
The Police say there were “several Police operations and a few high profile incidents over the Bermuda Day Holiday weekend”, and thanked the public for their co-operation.
