Rangers To PHC: You’re Tenants, We’ll Be Back

May 20, 2010

During the prize-giving, the President of six time BELCO Cup winners Southampton Rangers sent a message to the 2010 winners PHC; letting them know they have to pay rent as they are tenants, and that Rangers will be back to collect the Cup later on.

The comment by President Randy Raynor was met with laughter, and PHC’s Kyle Lightbourne then went up to collect the Cup, along with a $1,500 check.

Belco Executive Vice President, Andrew Parsons congratulated Pembroke Hamilton Club [PHC] for their victorious win over six time Belco Cup winners Southampton Rangers, saying it was one of the most exciting games he has seen in a while, and went on to commend the sportsmanship and quality batting and bowling.

Mr Parsons also noted his pleasure that Kevin Tucker was able to showcase his talent at the Belco Cup, and was later picked for the national squad for the ICC Americas.
