Man Airlifted Overseas Following Accident

A man has been airlifted overseas for further medical care following an accident in Paget early yesterday morning [Dec 27]. A car with three occupants smashed into a wall, and the driver was arrested for suspicion of driving whilst impaired.

A Police spokesman said “Police responded to a road traffic collision which occurred on Monday, December 27th around 2:32am at the junction of Harbor Road and Manse Road in Paget.”

“It appears that a car with three male occupants collided with a wall. Two of the three were injured; one of the injured has been flown overseas for further medical treatment the other received superficial cuts and bruises. However, the driver of the vehicle was arrested for suspicion of driving whilst impaired.”
