Video: Winter Winds Affect North Shore
Cold weather, rain, and heavy winds all swept across Bermuda this morning [Dec 21], as a vigorous winter low to our north-northeast was responsible for bringing bad weather our way.
Earlier today Bermuda Weather Service forecaster Ken Smith said “Earlier this morning we have experienced thunderstorms with hail and gusts to 60 knots, as well as setting a record low of 48F as a result of downdrafts from a thunderstorm.”
The video below was filmed at approximately 9:30am this morning at Penhurst Park on North Shore, and shows the wave action on the normally tranquil North Shore:
One small correction – Penhurst is in Smith’s Parish. Keep up the great reporting>
Well I must have missed something here. Where in the header and brief account does it say Penhurst is NOT in Smiths.
Thanks Terry, thats as I edited…..I did originally say Devonshire.
