Mr McPhee has acted as Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of three publicly-listed Australian companies to oversee and implement internal financial restructuring of these entities. More recently, he was a Partner and Executive Director with Australasian Insolvency specialist, Ferrier Hodgson, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
There he oversaw a wide variety of Insolvency Administrations, including Court-appointed Liquidations, Receivers and Managers, forensic investigations and corporate restructurings of both private and public companies. Mr McPhee has also held various financial advisory roles.
Kenneth Krys, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of KRyS Global, said “We are happy to welcome Patrick to the team at KRyS Global. His wealth of experience should stand the firm in good stead as we continue to grow the Bermuda office.”
Patrick has a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the Queensland University in Australia and is a member of CPA Malaysia. He is also a member of the Chartered Secretaries of Australia.
KRyS Global opened its Bermuda office in 2010 to support the largely cross-jurisdictional nature of its operations in the Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands and Bahamas.
The Bermuda office has quickly grown to four members of staff, and is looking to expand further. In celebration of the new office, a grand opening cocktail party is scheduled for 5 May 2011.
