The Department of Health’s Oral Health Section will host the second Bermuda Oral Health Symposium on March 19–20 at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute.

A Government spokesperson said “The Department of Health’s Oral Health Section will host the second Bermuda Oral Health Symposium on 19 and 20 March 2026 at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute. This symposium, held under the theme ‘Advancing Oral Health with New & Innovative Approache’, will explore the latest developments shaping the future of dental care and public health. The event will once again follow a hybrid format, with in person and virtual participation available. Individuals may register here.”

“As we prepare for the 2026 Oral Health Symposium, we continue to emphasise the importance of lifelong learning in maintaining high standards of clinical practice,” said Kim Wilson, Minister of Health. “This year’s programme brings together local and international speakers, showcasing a range of developments in oral health, public health, and emerging technologies. I encourage all dental professionals to take advantage of this opportunity to expand their knowledge and engage with colleagues across the profession.”

The spokesperson said “The 2026 programme will feature presentations on medical emergencies in the dental setting, paediatric dentistry, ethics in dentistry, A.I. in dentistry, oral surgery, radiology, public health, and periodontics. Attendees will also have access to exhibitor booths, including industry partners demonstrating new technologies, products, and current research in clinical practice.

“This year’s keynote speaker is Dr Brian Swann, who will address developments in the global oral health landscape and the growing intersections between dentistry and wider healthcare systems. Accommodation support remains available for overseas participants.

“Registration is open until 6 March 2026, with on site registration also available. All dental professionals, including dentists, hygienists, auxiliaries, and laboratory technicians, are invited to attend.
