The second cross country race of the season took place this morning [Oct 6] at Astwood Park, with just over 100 participants.
“We were happy to see the athletes who will be trying out for the Carifta 2013 Games in the Middle Distance Events participating,” said BTFA President Donna Watson. “With the women’s Partner Re 5k race taking place tomorrow we didn’t expect too many women to compete today.”
The winners were Jade Johnston in the Girls U/10, Kahzi Sealey in the Boys U/10, Ashley Irby in the Girls U/12, Ryan Outerbridge in the Boys U/12, Azariah Robinson in the Girls U/14, Aaron Jacobs in the Boys U/14, Zakkiyah Showers in the Girls U/17, and Nico Barclay in the Boys U/17.
Shuntae Hendrickson won the Girls U/20, Shaquille Dill in the Boys U/20, Rose-Anna Hoey won the Open Women, Chayce Smith won the Open Men, Jennie Kelly won the Masters Women, Robert Thomas won the Masters Men, Midge Oliver won the Snr Masters Women and Christopher Jones won the Snr Masters Men division.
