Video: Senator Defeats Minister In Egg-n-Spoon

Sylvan Richards and Diallo Rabain matched up against each other in C#7 Hamilton South in last year’s general election, with Mr Richards winning at the polls. The two gentlemen faced off again today [Mar 29] during the egg-n-spoon race at the Devil’s Hole Good Friday Fun Day, with Mr Rabain racing to victory.

Minister Richards now serves as the Minister of Environment & Planning, while Senator Rabain serves as the Shadow for the same Ministry. Senator Rabain [left] and Minister Richards are pictured before the ‘big race’.

The race started off with Minister Richards dropping his egg. He quickly picked it up and got right back in the race moving in on Senator Rabain, who then picked up speed as the Minister approached and sprinted off to victory. Mr Rabain wasn’t the overall winner however, having been beaten across the line by other competitors.
