Margaret Thatcher: Condolence Book Available
Government House noted that the funeral for former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher has now been set for next Wednesday [Apr 17], and said a Condolence Book will be available for signature at Government House until that date.
The longest-serving British Prime Minister of the 20th century and the only woman to have held the office, Margaret Thatcher died in London yesterday [Apr.7] at the age of 87.
“A Condolence Book will be available for signature at Government House between the hours of 10.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m. weekdays until and including 17 April,” a statement from Government House said.
Government House previously announced that Union Flags and Bermuda Flags will be flown at half-mast on Government buildings on the day of the funeral.
