Slideshow: Project Action’s Royal High Tea
Project Action’s 3rd Royal High Tea was held in honour of Her Majesty’s 60th Anniversary of her Coronation event held on Sunday [June 9] at the Hamilton Princess Harbourview Room. The ladies and a few gentlemen who were present were dressed all in their finest attire.
The event included a fashion show [video here], which was organized by Mrs. Kimesha Butterfield and Mrs. Lisa Christopher and featured formal to casual fashion wear from Cecile’s, English Sports Shop and Boutique CC.
The ‘Best hats’ contest was judged by Mrs. Marie Kent-Smith, Mrs. Mair Harris and Miss Ruth Thomas. The Gold Patrons were gifted with Coronation teas, tea trays, sweets, tea towels and a special Coronation book purchased from the Buckingham Palace Trust shop. The 2013 Miss Bermuda contestants were the hostesses for the event, as was Miss Bermuda 2012 Rochelle Minors.
Mrs. Cindy Swan from Project Action said, “The cohesive team-work of Mrs. Kimesha Butterfield, Mrs. Marie Kent-Smith, Mrs. Rose Douglas, Mrs. Lisa Christopher, Mrs. Mair Harris and Miss Zindziswa Swan, the organizing committee, resulted in a very successful high tea fundraiser.”
