Video: Marshall & Fiddick Win Labour Day Race

[Updated with video] Lamont Marshall and Victoria Fiddick ran to victory in this morning’s [Sept 2] Annual Labour Day 5 Mile race, with Marshall covering the course in just over twenty-five minutes, while Fiddick clocked just over thirty-four minutes.

The race saw runners start at Union Square, head on to Victoria Street, King Street, down Spurling Hill, along Front Street, Pitt’s Bay Road, up Cox’s Hill, on to North Shore Road, through Black Watch Pass and back to Union Square. We will update with the full race results as able.

Update: Marshall covered the course in 25.08, with Tre Simons was second clocking a time of 27:18 and Chayce Smith rounded out the top three finishers crossing the line in a time of 27:55.

Fiddick clocked a time of 34.08, with the defending champion Rose Ana Hoey clocking a time of 36:00 finishing as the second female finisher, while Teresa Humphrey was the third female finisher to cross the line clocking 38:04.

Akim Johnston clocked a time of 7:33 finishing just ahead of Jordan Ming to win the Junior Male race, while Messiah Greaves won the Female Junior race with a time of 12.33.
