Nahki Wells Named PFA Fans Player Of Month
Bermudian striker Nahki Wells has been named the PFA Fans Player of the Month for November.
The Premier League winner was Luis Suarez from Liverpool, the Championship winner was Ross McCormack from Leeds United, the League Two winner was James Constable from Oxford United, and of course Wells scooped up the League One title.
Football.co.uk said, “Bradford goal hero Nahki Wells is always keen to give credit to his teammates when he steals the headlines; as he has done on numerous occasions this season.
“And such is the modest and unselfish nature of City’s Bermudian international, no doubt he will dedicate his PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award for November to his pals as well.
“Not least his strike partner James Hanson who has helped contribute to Wells’ 14-goal haul so far this season. Their partnership has been described as ‘one of the best League One has to offer’.
“To have 14 goals to his name already this season is impressive enough; even more so when you consider he missed a number of games earlier in the campaign with injury.
“He’s fit and firing again now, and his hat-trick in the comeback 3-3 draw against Coventry was one of the division’s highlight of the month. Not that Wells was prepared to take all the credit.”

If he is still at Bradford come February, I’ll be surprised. The kid is most definitely in the Championship/ Premiership shop window…..
Great job, young man!
With the likes of TRE MING, LEJUAN SIMMONS, RAI SIMONS (all graduates of Dellwood Middle School, btw), ZEIKO LEWIS, JONTE SMITH and DALE EVE coming through the ranks, the island is surely on the verge of another long-awaited ‘Golden Era’!
I agree, I enjoy reading about him not just because he is doing well as a player , but because he is modest and has class. Wish more of our young men would aim to be heroes instead of settling on being zeros.
Well done Nahki…btw- no-one is a zero my brother/sister…
