Weekend Arrests: 6 For DUI, 12 For Warrants
Over the past weekend [Dec 7/8], police officers arrested six people on suspicion of impaired driving as the Selective Traffic Enforcement Programme [STEP] continues.
A police spokesperson said, “Officers also arrested 12 people for outstanding warrants and conducted liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.”
I look at DUI’s as a business nowadays.
It looks like these Six People are going to fork out between – $9000 and $ 10,000 in fines as a grand total’
I just hope that were using a good portion of this money to pay off our National DEBT.
