Video: Nahki Wells Scores In Huddersfield Debut

January 12, 2014

The video of Nahki Wells debut for Huddersfield Town surfaced online this morning, showing his dramatic last minute goal which earned his new team the win.

On January 10th, Wells was transferred to Championship side Huddersfield Town, which paid a new club record transfer fee breaking their old one of £1.2 million [$2 million] set in 1996. This is the highest transfer fee ever paid for Bermudian footballer, and makes Wells the island’s first “million pound footballer.”

Well made his debut for the team the day after he signed, coming on as a substitute in the second half of Huddersfield Town’s game against Millwall. The score was 0-0 when he came on, and Wells made a massive impact on his first time out the gate, scoring the game winning goal in the last seconds of the game.

If one goal wasn’t enough for you and you want to see more, check out this article which has videos of every single one of Nahki Wells goals – all 53 that he scored during his time at Bradford City.
