RAF jets in Bermuda Mar 14 (1)

They appeared to be stopping over on their way to a training exercise in Nevada, and we understand that the jets are set to leave Bermuda late tomorrow morning.

This is the third time the RAF have stopped in Bermuda this year, having made brief visits on January 9th and on January 20th.

I hope the on duty air traffic controller allows the RAF pilots to do their customary fly over after they take off. Was disappointed to find out that the Bermuda air traffic controller on duty turned down their request. It is the closest we will ever get to an airshow.

    • nuffin but the truth says:

Agreed, but maybe scheduled aircraft were in the area and it’s possible it was vetoed by New York(bermuda)ATC..128.500 that have the final say.

  4. Agreed…. Pilots were refused a fly-by again today
    Stuffy traffic controllers
