Teachers RFC To Present Annual Fight Night
Teachers RFC is getting set to present their Annual Fight Night on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at the Berkeley Institute gym. Dubbed Fight Night XVI: Relentless, the event will feature several bouts, including both boxing and kickboxing.
Bermuda’s World Wushu silver medalist Jermal Woolridge will challenge Canadian WXC Warrior Joey Brozovich in what will be the event’s main bout. Bermudian boxer Andre Lamb will face Canadian boxer Nick Hoover, while a third match between Canadian muay thai fighter Shelby Marchand and Bermudian Talia Iris will again pit the two countries against each other.
Adding to the night’s excitement will be an all-Bermuda match between boxers Corey Boyce and Shannon Ford.
The entry fee for general admission is $50, with VIP tickets – including an open bar with drinks served directly to your seat – available for $110. Partial proceeds will be donated to the Dante Noel-Simmons Education Fund.
Doors open at 6.00pm and the matches will begin at 7.00pm. All attendees must be 18 years of age or older. All Fight Night XVI coverage can be found here.
