Hopkins & Narraway Compete At Worlds
Nicholas Narraway and Kaden Hopkins represented Bermuda in the men’s elite road race at the 2026 UCI Road World Championships in Montreal, Canada, on Sunday [September 27].
The Bermudian cyclists joined an international field of 181 starters for the 273.4-kilometre event, which included 12 laps of a 13.4-kilometre finishing circuit.
Hopkins and Narraway were both listed as did not finish, with only 58 riders completing the demanding race.
American Brandon McNulty won the world title in six hours, 17 minutes and four seconds. Australia’s Michael Matthews finished second, with Mathieu van der Poel of the Netherlands third, both 13 seconds behind the winner.
