PHC Lady Zebras Wins Women’s Futsal Cup
The Bermuda Futsal Federation held its first Women’s Futsal Cup competition at the Bermuda College Gym on Saturday [Apr 5], with the PHC Lady Zebras winning the Inaugural Futsal Cup Tournament to add it to their League Championship.
Throughout the Tournament, the PHC Lady Zebras dominated the majority of their opponents, with the Somerset Hurricanes coming close in their first round game. Aaliyah Nolan from the PHC Lady Zebras won the Most Valuable Player Award and was the high goal scorer with 9 goals.
Surprise team of the tournament was Dandy Stars Gold, consisting of Dandy Stars younger players. They had to come out of the losers bracket to get to the finals, but ended up going further than their more senior sister team, Dandy Stars Brown.

1st Semi-Final:
- Dandy Stars Gold won via penalties over Hamilton Parish after drawing 5 to 5 in normal time.

- PHC Lady Zebras 7 Dandy Stars Brown 1

- PHC Lady Zebras 7 Dandy Stars Gold 2
Next Saturday sees the Women’s Futsal season come to an end with the Third Annual Women’s All-Star Game. This year’s game looks to be the most competitive as the West and East teams are fairly evenly matched.
The game starts at 7pm at the Bermuda College Gym. This year’s game will also feature a BFF Select 13 and under team playing against a Boston, USA futsal team.
“Members of the public are encouraged to come out and support their favourite players as well as the BFF Select side against their overseas opponents,” a spokesperson said
