Results: Bermuda Bicycle Association Time Trial

The Bermuda Bicycle Association [BBA] hosted as time trial this morning [July 20] in St. David’s, with all age categories racing 16.6 miles, except for the 11-14 year olds who did half the distance, and the 10 & under participants, who completed 2.6 miles.

Anthony Bartley [Winners Edge] posted the best time of the day with 39:22 in the open category, an average speed of 25.3 mph, while the top female was Nicole Mitchell [Winners Edge] in 42:34, an average speed of 23.4 mph.

Other category winners were Neil de ste Croix [Male Veteran], Heather Roque [Female Veteran], Christian Oatley [Male 15-16], Victoria Davis [Female 15-16], Zion Dowling [Male 13-14], Nicholas Narraway [Male 11-12], Julianne Oatley [Female 11-12], Enshe-Nico Davis [Male 10 & Under] and Megan Hands [Female 10 & Under].

The BBA said their attention now turns to the Commonwealth Games, where Nicole Mitchell and Dominique Mayho will be representing Bermuda in the road cycling events. First up is the individual time trial on July 31 and then the road race on August 3.
