Witness Appeal: Robbery At Sandys Laundrette
Police are appealing for witnesses to yesterday’s robbery of the laundrette in Sandys parish.
A police spokesperson said, “Inquiries are ongoing into a reported theft from a laundrette in the plaza adjacent to The Market Place in Sandys parish that occurred around 2:55pm Monday, November 17th.
“Apparently two unarmed male offenders quickly entered the premises and made good their escape with a quantity of cash.
“Anyone who may have seen two men acting suspiciously in The Market Place, Dollar Depot Sandys parish area between 2:30pm and 3pm Monday should contact the Criminal Investigation Unit on telephone number 295-0011 or the independent and confidential Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477.”
