Photos: 2015 Partner Re Junior Girls’ 2K Race
The PartnerRe Women’s 5K — which was postponed due to Hurricane Joaquin — took place this morning [Oct 11] with events including a women’s 5k run, a girls’ 2k run with two age categories, a competitive 5K walk and a non competitive 5K run/walk.
The girls’ 2K race kicked off at approximately 8.15am and saw fourteen year old Ashley Irby from Saltus win the 11-14 year old category with a time of 6:39. Jessie Marshall, also from Saltus, came second in a time of 6:57 while Holly Bruton from Warwick Academy placed third in a time of 7:09.

Ten year old Zoe Hasselkuss from Somersfield Academy won the 7-10 year old category crossing the finish line in 7:40. Jasmin Hasselkuss, also from Somersfield Academy placed second with a time of 7:43 while Ramiah Brangman from West End Primary came third in a time of 7:55.
