Rugby: Mexico Defeat Bermuda In Cup Qualifier

May 22, 2016

Mexico defeated Bermuda 75-10 in their opening match of the 2019 Rugby World Cup Qualifiers.

A penalty goal, a dominant scrum and a 60m intercept try from Tommy Edwards converted by Dan Cole kept Bermuda in the game during the first 40 minutes, before going into half-time 28-10 down.

Tom Healy and Berkeley Institute student Jahniko Francis both came close to scoring tries for Bermuda, but ultimately had no match for Mexico’s clinical finishing and 100% kicking record.

Even though we lost I still got to spend some quality time cuddling and stuff with the fellas. Oh how I love rugby trips where I can run around with my underpants on my head and nothing else on.
