New Director Of Public Transportation Dept
The Ministry of Transport and Regulatory Affairs announced that Roger Todd has joined the Department of Public Transportation as Director.
“The accomplished Senior Manager and Professional Engineer has over 25 years of experience leading, coaching and developing industrial and professional teams,” the Ministry said.
“With a strong Asset Management and System Reliability background, Mr. Todd has successfully managed plant operations and major capital projects.”
“Mr. Todd is an advocate for innovation and efficiency and optimizing processes, teams and technology, and, has been a Management Representative for ISO environmental and safety management systems.”
The Head of the Civil Service, Dr. Derrick Binns commented: “I am delighted that Roger has joined the Public Service. He has a well-deserved reputation for professionalism.
“His proven leadership in working with groups to deliver necessary and valuable products to our community makes him a good fit within the Ministry of Transport and Regulatory Affairs and at the Department of Public Transportation.
“I join with all my colleagues in Government in welcoming him to the team.”
I do hope one pf the terms and conditions of his employment is that he gets a bus pass and has to use public transport. Then things will improve!

Oh gosh – I hope he knows what he is in for! Please get ISO up and running throughout the buses and ferries – it is long overdue. So is planned maintenance and proper purchasing procedures. Good luck Sir truely.
