Teen Girl Denies Murder Of Lyrico Steede In UK
Appearing in the Nottingham Crown Court in England, a 16-year-old girl — one of multiple teenagers charged — has denied the murder of 17-year-old Bermudian Lyrico Steede.
This is according to a report by the Nottinghamshire Post, which said, “A 16-year-old girl has pleaded not guilty to the murder of 17-year-old Lyrico Steede.
“The youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared in the dock at Nottingham Crown Court with four others – aged between 16 and 19 – accused of murder.
“Those under 18 are too young to be named in public. The eldest accused of murder is Kasharn Campbell, 19, of of no fixed address.
“The 16-year-old, sat on the end of a line of front row seats filled by her co-accused in the dock, entered her plea at a pre-trial review on Friday, August 10.
“The trial is listed on Tuesday, October 2, before a high court judge.
“Lyrico, known to his friends as Rico, was allegedly chased and repeatedly stabbed a number of times in an attack in Bulwell at around 7.30pm, Tuesday, February 13.
“He was left with serious injuries and died in hospital six days later.”
