Students Donate Toys & Cash To Salvation Army
More than 100 new toys were donated to The Salvation Army’s Anonymous Santa appeal after a collection organized by Saltus middle and senior school students.
The students also raised more than $1,500 from a grub day, including money donated by science technician John Barnes from his winnings from a recent golf tournament.
Ann Paynter, Director of Middle School at Saltus said: “We were delighted to help the Salvation Army, which does a fantastic job, and we hope that these toys as well as the money raised brighten some people’s Christmas Day.”
