CedarBridge Academy Annual Co-Curricular Fair

CedarBridge Academy recently held their annual Co-Curricular Fair, where students enjoyed music, had the opportunity to sign up, and spoke with faculty and representatives from different organizations who offer co-curricular activities at the school.

A spokesperson said, “Co-curricular Activities are an important component at CedarBridge Academy, and provides an invaluable learning experience. The activities play an integral role in helping students develop leadership, teamwork and sportsmanship skills, while learning something new outside the traditional classroom environment.

“Additionally, active participation in co-curricular activities promotes school spirit, wellness, service and positive relationships.

“Co-curricular activities prepare students for post-secondary education and mould students into well-rounded individuals. CBA students must obtain a minimum of 80 co-curricular hours to participate in their graduation ceremony.

“On October 16, 2019 the Physical Education Department held the school’s annual Co-Curricular Fair during the lunch period. Students were entertained with music, had the opportunity to sign-up, and speak with faculty and representatives from different organizations who offer co-curricular activities at the school.

“A few co-curricular activities offered at the school are Bridge Club, Beyond Rugby, Boxing Club, CBA Chimes, Cycling Club, Duke of Edinburgh, Debate Club, Drama Club, Empowered Girls, Fashion Club, Gravel Club, Key Club, Student Government Association, Word of Life, CBA walking club, male and female football, volleyball, basketball, netball, badminton, track and field and cross country.”
