Netball: U11, U14, U17 & Senior League Results
The latest round of Bermuda Netball Association matches took place at Bernards Park, with the Storm Lightning, Phoenix Sparks, Rangers, Lady Rams Whites, Storm, and Phoenix Heat recording wins.
Under 11 Division Storm Lightning 27 Warriors 1
The Storm Lightning defeated the Warriors 27 – 1 in the opener. The Storm got 15 goals from Malaysia Furbert, while MVP Zeni Hansey added 7 goals and Amari Burgess scored 5 goals. Narai Franklin scored the lone goal for the Warriors, with Daisha Butterfield named the teams MVP.
Under 11 Division Phoenix Sparks 31 Warriors 1
The Phoenix Sparks then defeated the Warriors 31 – 1. The Phoenix Sparks got 7 goals from Hailey Trott and Kerr Holdipp, while Alaysia Scott added 6 goals, Xola Rollins and Jaya Dillas scored 4 goals each, leigha Ferguson scored twice and Kim-Mora Mallory added the other, with Shiloh Simmons named the teams MVP. The Warriors goal came from Narai Franklin 1, while the teams MVP was Andre Thompson.
Under 11 Division Rangers 9 North Village Lady Rams 3
Rangers defeated the North Village Lady Rams 9 – 3 in their match-up. Saajida Daniels led the way with 4 goals, X’henaye Simons added 3 goals and A’ameerah Richardson-Swan scored twice, Ja’miyah Johnston was named the teams MVP, while the North Village Lady Rams got 2 goals from MVP Rayzeeah Robinson and a single goal from Dani Brown.
Under 11 Division Phoenix Sparks 23 Rangers 5
The Phoenix Sparks defeated the Rangers 23 – 5. The Sparks were led to victory in this match by Hailey Trott who scored 9 goals, while Alaysia Scott scored 5 goals, Sanaa Grant and Kree Holdipp added 3 goals each, with Xola Rollins adding 2 goals and Delah Stowe-Eve scored once. Jaya Dillas was named the teams MVP. Rangers got 2 goals from both X’henaye Simons and A’meerah Richardson Swan, while Saajida Daniels added the other, with Zyari Lawrence named the teams MVP.
Under 11 Division Storm Lightning 16 Storm Thunder 5
The Storm Lightning defeated the Storm Thunder 16 – 5. The Storm Lightning got 7 goals from MVP Malaysia Furbert and Zeni Hansey, while Ameerah Outerbridge added the other 2 goals, while the Storm Thunder got 3 goals from Naomi Crofton and Sydney Santos added 2 goals, with Jaylah Ible named the teams MVP.
Under 14 Division North Village Lady Rams Reds 3 North Village Lady Rams Whites 18
The North Village Lady Rams Whites defeated the North Village Lady Rams Reds 18 – 3. The North Village Lady Rams Whites got 10 goals from Ra’eesah Robinson and Aniya Minors added 8 goals. The North Village Lady Rams Reds got 2 goals from Sioma Rudo, while Jazya Brimmer-Peats added the other, with Akina Williams named the teams MVP.
Under 17 Division Storm 38 Phoenix Fire 7
The Storm defeated the Phoenix Fire 38 – 7, with Elishae Smith leading the way with 15 goals. G’zai Dyer and Zidonnae Robinson both added 10 goals each and MVP Selah Tuzo scored 3 times. The Phoenix Fire got 4 goals from K’xiyae Gibbons, while Rahkshana added 2 goals and Amari Easton scored once; the team’s MVP was Alexis Burrows.
Senior Division Phoenix Heat 54 Lindos Tigers 31
In the lone Senior League match the top two teams Phoenix Heat and Tigers took to the court. The Lindo’s Tigers came to win in a bid to retain the league championship title, but they came up short falling 54 – 31.
The Phoenix Heat got 28 goals from Ebonie Burgess, while Danielle Rayner added 25 goal, while Dominique Richardson was named the teams MVP. The Lindo’s Tigers got 18 goals from MVP Jahkenya Trott and Jahtuere Trott added 13 goals.
