Sanchez Smith Wins Silver Medal At Carifta
Sanchez Smith won Bermuda’s second medal at the Carifta Games in Grenada yesterday [April 5].
Smith claimed silver in the under-17 boys’ 3,000 metres final in a personal best time of 9min 22sec at the Kirani James Athletic Stadium.
Meanwhile, Brooklyn Myers came seventh in the open girls’ 3,000 final in 10:56.07.
Miles Outerbridge secured the island’s first medal at the annual regional competition on Saturday, winning gold in the under-20 boys’ 100.
