MAWI Staff Graduate From City & Guilds Programme
Nine nurse aides graduated having earned their City & Guilds Certificates in “Working with People Who Have A Learning Disability” at the Mid-Atlantic Wellness Institute on March 10, 2010.
The graduates are:

- Durroni Philpott
- Tammy Thompson
Chief Operating Officer Patrice Dill said that over half of the nurse aides have now gone through the programme.
Learning Disability Clinical Director, Mr Michael Murray added that educational development supports the Mid Atlantic Wellness Institute staff and ensures a constant raising of the bar as they work towards de-institutionalising the service.
City & Guilds is the United Kingdom’s leading vocational qualification awarding body, and considered a leading qualification through the Commonwealth.
