Rise Above Fun Day: Politics Put Aside

The community action group Rise Above Bermuda held a “Family Fun Day’ this afternoon [Apr 18] today at the Victor Scott School field. The concept was to help heal after the well know tragic events that occurred on the school field on Good Friday. Some of Bermuda’s politicians came out this afternoon in support of the event, with Senator Michael Dunkley donating refreshments for the event, and PLP MP Wayne Furbert attending the church service held earlier.
