Good Samaritan Robbed By Teen Girl & Man
Last night [May 12] a would-be Good Samaritan was robbed after she stopped to help someone.
The victim was riding her motorbike along Trinity Church Road, when she saw what appeared to be a female teenage motorcyclist in distress.
The soon-to-be victim stopped to help, and the young female motorcyclist who had been feigning distress then gripped the victim’s motorcycle handlebars, while a man suddenly appeared from the nearby bushes and stole the complainant’s small suitcase.
The victim, a 48 year old Hamilton parish woman, was not injured. The small suitcase contained a quantity of jewelry and personal items.
The first suspect is described as:
- Black female believed to be in her mid-late teens
- Wearing a plaid skirt
- Dark or maroon coloured hooded sweat top and white socks
- Riding an old grey or black scooter type motorcycle.
The second suspect is described as:
- Black male
- Wearing a camouflage puffy jacket
- Wearing a black helmet with a dark coloured visor.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident or anyone with any information to contact the St. George’s Criminal Investigation Unit on 293-2222.
