Digicel: Major Step Towards 3G Network
A spokesperson for the Digicel network say they underwent a major upgrade during the early hours of Sunday July 4th morning as Digicel moves closer to launching a state of the art 3G+ network. Digical says that “customers were migrated onto entirely new and elite telecommunications hardware that will be the new backbone for the Digicel 3G+ network. The migration is considered to be a successful major step towards launching network technology only available in a few countries around the world.”
There were various posts on the social network Facebook with locals mentioning they had issues with their Digical phones over the weekend. Digicel extends their thanks to their customers, and is asking any customers experiencing issues to please contact the Customer Care call centre by dialling 611 from their Digicel cellular phones or 500-5611 from any phone.
