Teresa Perozzi Weighs In For Match Tomorrow

Promoter and president of Jiketsu Martial Productions, Reuben Bean is anticipating another exciting night of professional boxing and mixed martial arts action at ‘Smashdown’ to be held tomorrow night.

This evening [July 23] the fighter’s weighed in, and both female fighters made the required weight of 160lbs. Bermuda’s top female boxer Teresa Perozzi [on left below] will take on Cimberly Harris from Tampa Florida tomorrow at the Berkeley Institute Gymnasium.

Teresa Perozzi, arguably the best female boxer in Bermuda’s history, is a WIBC and NABC middleweight boxing champion who has been ranked as high as 5th in the world. Her professional record stands at 6 wins, 3 losses, and 1 draw. Ms. Perozzi has never been knocked out in her professional career. Ms Perozzi’s opponent, 42 year old Cimberly “Kim” Harris from Tampa Florida, has a record of 5 wins, 14 losses, and 0 draws.

In addition to the boxing match, the event will feature full contact, mixed martial arts action. Sanshou [Chinese full contact art referred to as Sanda – “Free Fighting”] and Muay Thai [Thai Boxing full contact art referred to as “Art of Eight Limbs”] will clash in the ring to compete for titles in distinct weight categories at Smashdown, starting at 8pm, with doors opening at 7pm.
