Fatal Drowning in Hamilton Parish

A few minutes after 7pm tonight [Aug 25] the Police responded to a “report of a marine incident” at Green Bay Road in Hamilton Parish. The Police say that it appears that members of the community saw a man in the water in a non-responsive state in the waters off Green Bay Dock.

The 40-year-old Hamilton Parish man was pronounced dead on the scene by an on-call physician at 8:30pm. No further information will be given until the next of kin has been notified. The Police have stated that foul play is not suspected. Bernews extends our condolences to this gentleman’s family and friends.
