Police Name Man Found as Shane Kelly
The Bermuda Police have identified the man who was found floating in the waters in Hamilton Parish as 40-year-old Shane Kelly of Old Road in Hamilton Parish. The Police statement follows below:
Police can now confirm the death of 40 year old Shane Carlyle Kelly Of Old Road in Hamilton Parish. It appears that a few minutes after 7pm Wednesday evening police responded to a report of a marine incident at Green Bay Road in Hamilton Parish. Members of the community saw a man in the water by the Green Bay Dock in a non responsive state and as a result the emergency services were called. However, the 40 year old Hamilton Parish man was pronounced dead by an on call physician at 8:30pm. Foul play is not suspected in the death of Shane Kelly.
The Bermuda Police Service extended their sincere condolences to Mr Kelly’s family and friends, as does Bernews.
