PLP Selects Three Candidates
Last night [Aug 31], PLP members in St. George’s West, St. George’s South and Warwick South Central met and elected three new candidates to represent the party in the next general or by election.
Senator Marc Bean was selected to run in the Premier’s seat of Warwick South Central, beating out Attorney General Kim Wilson, businessman Nelson Hunt and BIU President Chris Furbert.
Constituency #2 St. George’s West selected John Gibbons, who defeated the Premier’s Press Secretary Jamahl Simmons, who previously sat in the House as a UBP MP. The Leader of the Opposition Kim.Swan presently holds the seat.
Constituency #4 St. George’s South selected Pastor Leroy Bean, founder of the anti-gang group CARTEL. The BDA’s Donte Hunt presently holds the seat, which he won as a UBP candidate.
Isn’t this flake a notorious (edited)?

Way harsh Ganja but that’s obviously why supporters wear green. Jokers running the country. I hope he gets the Ministry of Social Rehab. I need to move anywhere they’ll take me.
congrats Sen. Bean. Remain humble and serve the people effectively.
This is crazy. John Gibbons over Jamahl Simmons and Marc Bean…period. How sad is your party when Marc Bean’s your front runner? We’re in for a bumpy ride.
