Police Appeal for Witnesses: Double Shooting

Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with any information about yesterday’s [Nov 27] shooting of two men in the Mission Lane, Pembroke area. An active investigation is underway by the Serious Crimes Unit. Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact 295-0011 or the independent confidential Crime Stoppers Bermuda hotline on 800-8477.

Around 5:30am yesterday Police responded to a confirmed firearm incident which saw two men, aged 40 and 44, injured and rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. As of 5:30am this morning [24 hours post shooting] both victims are in the Intensive Care Unit listed in stable condition, after being listed as critical the night before.

Update 7:15pm: As of 7:15pm both victims are still listed as stable in the ICU
