Two Teenagers Arrested After Robbery

Two teenagers, aged 19 and 15, were arrested by Police in connection with a robbery last night, which saw a 34 year old man accosted by a group of men.

Around 7:40pm last night Police responded to a report of a robbery on Crawl Point Lane West in Hamilton parish near the junction with North Shore Road.

The Police say that it appears that the victim, a 34 year old Hamilton parish man, was riding a motorcycle along Crawl Point Lane West when he was accosted by a group of men.

The assailants fled the scene on foot with one taking the victim’s motorcycle. The victim sustained minor injuries which did not require medical treatment, and his motorcycle was recovered.

Two suspects, a 19 year old Hamilton parish man and a 15 year old young man from Pembroke, were arrested near the scene in connection with this incident. Inquiries are ongoing.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact the St. George’s Criminal Investigation Unit on 293-2222.
