Delta Christmas Flight Cancelled

Hundreds of flights have been cancelled due to the inclement weather on the US East Coast, including today’s [Dec 25] Delta flights between Atlanta and Bermuda. A snow storm brought rare Christmas Day snow to the Georgia area.

CNN reported that Morgan Durrant, a Delta spokesman, said the airline has canceled roughly 300 flights in and out of Atlanta and 200 more elsewhere around the country. The mid-Atlantic and Northeast could see combinations of rain, sleet and snow, with the heaviest amounts of precipitation in highest elevations, CNN meteorologists said.

    It barely snowed today in Atlanta. It didn’t start until late in the evening.

      I fully agree with you. In my area (south Atlanta) it started lightly around 1:30 pm and did not really start snowing until around 5 pm.
