“WILL THE PLP GOVERMENT WAKE UP SMELL THE ROSERS THERE MORE AND MORE WERE ARE THE POLICE???”

I respect freedom of speech but please tell us that you’re not the person that had ambition to be the MAYOR OF HAMILTON.

The police are at all these ridiculous accidents you muppet. The usual fender benders where people will block morning traffic, insisting police see where they were positioned….NO ONE CARES!!!! Exchange details and move your car; go to the station if you feel the need.
We pay insurance year on year, let them investigate and apportion blame, free police patrols to be out there doing more proactive policing or indeed trying to prevent the aforementioned accident.

      • The Truth Hurts says:

Well said! It is a massive waste of police time attending silly little collisions. No other jurisdiction in the world sends police to any collision unless there is death, serious injury or the road is majorly blocked by debris.

        • In General says:

Actually in several countries around the world in order to get repair work done on a vehicle you MUST provide a police report. Body work will not be done if there is no police report – AND the car owner can be severely fined for not reporting. I have been to two of these countries and guess what – people drive with more caution as they don’t want to go through the whole legal process.

      • ok says:

        Well said I agree 100%.

      • Triangle Drifter says:

Anyone who has driven anywhere else must have seen signs telling people to pull over & sort out their no injury fender benders.

Not in Bermuda. Invariably one of the drivers, no matter whether he/she is the cause or the victim of the crash, will get out & start performing arms waving, shouting, just generally acting like a fool. For what? A bit of damage to a car?!!!.

  2. Call as it is says:

    52 accidents…

more like 52 IDIOTS that had no idea how to drive.

    • David says:

Obviouslly you’ve never gone down. I’ve had accidents beyond my control while 100% sober with no distractions.

      • Call as it is says:

You don’t know how to drive then!

      • Triangle Drifter says:

Must be doing something wrong then. A quick count shows it has been almost 40 years since me & a bike had a sideways meeting with the road. Almost as long with a 4 wheeled vehicle. Never had full coverage insurance either. The money saved pays for my next vehicle in my mind.
