Nahki Wells Makes Carlisle Debut

Bermudian footballer Nahki Wells made his first showing in the UK, taking the field for Carlisle Reserves two days after arriving at the club. His team took on the Glasgow Rangers at the Scottish club’s Murray Park in Glasgow.

Two second half goals earned Glasgow Rangers a 2 – 0 victory over Mr Wells and his Carlisle United Reserve teammates in the friendly match. Mr Wells started the game playing 65 minutes before being replaced.

The 19-year-old former Dandy Town star had also attracted the attention of professional clubs Hull and Ipswich Town when he attended the International Academic & Soccer Academy in the UK earlier this year, however signed a contract with Carlisle United this year.
