Sunshine League Denim for Children Day
The Sunshine League Children’s Home is celebrating its 92nd anniversary of supporting Bermuda’s foster children this coming Friday [Jan 28].
The League is inviting members of the community to participate in their 2nd annual Denim for Children Day on the date of their anniversary. All people need to do is donate $3 or more to the Sunshine League and spend the day in their favorite jeans. They can register by phone by calling 292-4360 or by email at sdunstan “at” sunshineleague.bm.
Robin Hood Restaurant & Pub is also getting in on the celebrations that evening, and will be donating 10% of their dinner directly to the Sunshine League.
A spokesperson said: “We are very thankful to Robin Hood for hosting this fundraiser and hope that many people participate.”
