Alleged Single Vehicle Collision

alleged accidentLast night Police responded to what they termed an “alleged single vehicle collision.”

A Police spokesman said: Around 10:10am on Tuesday, Police responded to a report of an alleged single vehicle collision involving a pedal cyclist in the Harlem Heights Road, Hamilton parish area. Details about the incident are unclear; however the victim, a 41 year old Hamilton parish man, sustained a head injury.”

“He was initially treated at the scene before being taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for further medical care. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing. Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact the St. George’s Criminal Investigation Unit on 293-2222.”

As of this afternoon [Feb 9], the 41-year-old man is still in hospital – listed as stable in a general ward.

    Thank the Lord it was a single vehicle. My info is that 20 minutes prior there was an accident in the same spot. Police confirm this but the spokes person said..”It appears that the alleged accident was a result of miscommunication during a service on 13 February 1999 and the parties agreed to settle with each other and their Lawyer.

    Moral is…if your single….party.

    If you have a licence, get a lawyer…..
