Vehicle Flips Over on Roberts Avenue
[Updated] At approximately 9:15pm this evening [Feb 22], an SUV flipped over on Roberts Avenue near the junction with Parsons Road.
Both the Police and Fire Service attended the scene, and traffic was blocked off till approximately 10:15pm. We do not have official information at this time, however it appears that no one was seriously injured in the accident. An ambulance did attend, however appeared to leave the scene without a patient.

Update: Official Police information
Around 9:10pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on Roberts Avenue in Devonshire near the junction with Parsons Road and found the vehicle involved unoccupied. Details about how the collision occurred are unclear at this time; however it appears that a jeep was traveling along Roberts Avenue when the driver lost control. As a result the vehicle overturned. The occupants of the vehicle, a 23 year old woman and a 27 year old man, were not injured; however the jeep was extensively damaged. Traffic was diverted away from the scene for approximately an hour. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing and any witnesses are encouraged to contact PC Rajiv Bailey on 295-0011.
