Yesterday afternoon [Feb. 27] the NVCC Lady Rams defeated the Young’uns 11 – 9, Jordyn Morris scored 9 goals to lead NVCC Lady Rams to victory, while Deja Harvey added 2 goals. Demiqua Daniels scored all 9 goals for the Young’uns.
Deanne Hart scored 15 goals for the Devonshire Colts as they defeated the Cougar Cubs 15 – 5, Jahilika Berkeley scored the 5 goals for the Cougar Cubs.
In the Under 14 Division the NVCC Lady Rams went down 29 – 9 to the Young’uns. Keizhari Knight scored 18 goals to lead the Young’uns, while Aaliyah Cole added 4 goals and Imani Smith scored 3 goals. The NVCC Lady Rams got 5 goals from Lynnique Castle , with Deja Harvey adding 2 goals, while Marissa Trott and Jordyn Morris added a goal each.
Amber Mapp scored 23 of the 32 Nu-Art Superstarz goals as they defeated the Netts by 23 goals. Shondae Woods-Bell added 9 goals for the winners, Nia Dailey scored 5 goals for the Netts while Amali Smith added 4 goals.
The YMSC Junior Bluebirds went down 49 – 4 to the Netts . Keashonea Robinson scored 12 goals for IAS Shooter with Taahira Butterfield added 8 goals as they defeated the NVCC Lady Rams 30 – 8. Drewnai Bascome and T’Yanna Hayward scored 3 goals each for the NVCC Lady Rams, while Kandia Caisey added 2 goals.
In the Senior Division WWC Pink Panthers defeated the NVCC Lady Rams 55 – 31, Nikita Trott scored 20 goals for the NVCC Lady Rams, while Kristin Holman added 11 goals.
Gina Benjamin scored a staggering 60 goals for the DataTech Netts as they defeated the Signworx Netts 69 – 20. Arkeita Fubler added 4 goals, Marissa Wainwright scored 3 goals and Antoinette Gibson scored 2 goals. The Signworx Netts got 18 goals from Danielle Onyia, 7 goals from Olivia Onyia and a single goal from Gerteikqua Hatherley .
The YMSC Lady Bluebirds defeated New Life 59 – 50, Danielle Raynor scored 39 goals to see YMSC Lady Bluebirds to victory, while Ebonie Burgess added 20 goals. Deborah DeShields scored 41 goals for New Life while Kimale Evans added 9 goals.
The Smooth & Easy Tigers defeated the DC Warriors 58 – 23. Jennifer Simmons led the Smooth & Easy Tigers, while Donnisha Gardner added 13 goals and Chaquita Simmons scored 11 goals.
