Royal Couple Visits Co-Educational Facility
HRH the Earl of Wessex and HRH the Countess of Wessex visited the Co-Educational Facility in Ferry Reach yesterday morning [Mar.17] where they met seven trainees who are currently enrolled in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.
Among them was 19-year-old Jaymi Edwards, who has earned both his bronze and silver awards and is aspiring to complete the gold award this year. As he congratulated the trainees on a job well done, the Earl of Wessex encouraged them to continue to reach their goals. Mr. Edwards, the eldest in the group told the Earl of Wessex: “This programme has motivated me to push myself further and I hope that the other trainees learn from it like I have.”
After their visit, The Royal Couple then travelled to Martello Tower in Ferry Reach, St. George’s where they enjoyed the panoramic view of the entire Island.
