Two Accidents, Two Men Injured

Two men were taken to hospital after being injured in two separate accidents.

A Police spokesman said, “Around 8:30am on Friday, Police responded to a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of North Shore Road and Fractious Street in Hamilton parish, apparently involving a motorcycle and a car. Details about how the collision occurred are unclear at this time; however the male motorcyclist was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. The victim’s injuries are not believed to be life threatening.”

“Around 11:50pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Middle Road and Stadium Lane in Warwick involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that both vehicles were traveling along Middle Road when they collided at the junction. The rider of the motorcycle, a 49 year old Sandys parish man, sustained a leg injury. He was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. The driver of the car, a 34 year old Warwick woman, was not injured. Both vehicles were damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.”
