Upcoming: Dr. Rashidi African Diaspora Lecture

This coming Tuesday CURB will present a free lecture: ‘The African Diaspora: Global African Presence, Ancient And Modern’ by Dr. Runoko Rashidi.

CURB said, “This presentation is designed for all ages and audiences. It is a presentation that Dr. Rashidi has been perfecting for more than thirty years and has given in more than fifty countries. It examines the role of African people as the mothers and fathers of humanity, human culture, and classical civilization.”

“It looks at the spread of African people to all parts of the world in ancient and modern times–before, during and after enslavement.”

“It is highly visual with about 200 rare photos. It is poignant, moving, inspiring, with touches of humor. Dr. Runoko Rashidi–anthropologist, historian, world traveler.”

The event will be held at 7:30pm on Tuesday March 15th at the Cathedral Church Hall in Hamilton. See flyer below:
