May 24th Half Marathon Derby Entrants
Arguably the most popular road racing event of the year, the 2011 Bermuda Day Half Marathon is about to kick off this morning [May 24]. As always, hundreds of locals have entered the race, which initially began on in 1909 with a mere 25 participants. Defending champion Chris Estwanik is expected to battle hard to retain the title, while the female defending champion – his wife Ashley Estwanik – is out of contention as she is expecting the couples second child.
