Photos: 2011 Kardias Club ‘Tea With a Twist’
The Kardias Club hosted their ‘Tea with a Twist’ on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the Fairmont Southampton Princess. Itincluded a champagne afternoon tea reception, a fashion show and music by The Atlantic Music Group.
A number of local fashion and accessory vendors participated, such as Calypso, Cessie’s Hats, Alexandra Mosher, Marcia Ingham and Touché.
In addition, the group had their signature “fashionista” cookies at the event, which were made by Cake Boutique. There were approximately 180 people in attendance, and all proceeds from the event will be donated to P.R.I.D.E. Bermuda.
The Kardias Club is a women’s group and registered charity #051 which has been supporting the community of Bermuda since its inception in 1964.
They have contributed to various causes including the Intensive Care Unit at King Edward VII, the Packwood Home, Child’s Wish, Bermuda Autism Support and Education Society, P.R.I.D.E. Bermuda, The Family Centre, the Bermuda Sloop Foundation and Spirit of Bermuda and many more.
